Led and developed by Maggie Valley Fly Shop and their dedicated team, over 100 volunteers are expected for the March 22nd cleanup event to pull Helene debris and litter from Jonathan Creek running through Maggie Valley.

The event begins at 9:00am
Participants will arrive at the shop at 8:30am to go over instructions, receive their gear and join their cleaning crew
Please bring a few pairs of gloves, if you have waders and boots, bring those please, if you don’t we can still use your help along side of the stream getting up trash. We will run 4 different groups within town first and then lower Jonathan in April (TBD) and continuing until we get the job done, period.
We have trucks and trailers for the hauling and will supply contractor bags and have some lunch for the volunteers at the fly shop at noon. Each team of volunteers will have a team leader and section to cover.
